Hellbrunn Baroque Garden with water features and historic water spouts

Hellbrunn Water Games

Hellbrunn Palace borders directly on Anif and is one of the best-known excursion destinations in southern Salzburg. Above all, the water games are famous: grottoes, fountains, water-powered figures and surprising jets of water have been delighting and amusing visitors for over 400 years. In addition, there are extensive parkland, historic architecture and special rooms such as the Carabinier Hall for weddings.

Historic buildings, parkland and plenty of surprises. Hellbrunn combines culture, nature and pleasure in a special way. The famous water games lead through a unique ensemble of grottoes, fountains and mechanical figures. But it’s not just about watching: visitors to Hellbrunn should expect small surprises and the occasional splash of water.

Around the palace and water games, the parkland invites you to stroll, linger and explore. Historic buildings, old vistas and the proximity to Anif make Hellbrunn an ideal excursion destination to combine with a walk, a zoo visit or a tour along the Hellbrunn Avenue.

Hellbrunn is also interesting for special occasions: the Carabinier Hall is one of the palace’s most impressive rooms and is used, among other things, for weddings.
