Loop A6: Am Essigmanngut Loop (purple route)
The purple Am Essigmanngut Loop is perfect for anyone who wants to start gently, enjoy an easy run or go for a relaxed walk. Starting in Niederalm, the route follows paved roads along the Kirchenstraße, passing the Church of St John the Baptist.
The loop then continues along the Neu-Anifer-Straße and Ahornstraße, running alongside the Tauern Motorway on your left, past the cemetery and back to the starting point. Level with the motorway, a connecting path leads to Hotel Das Essigmanngut.
The Am Essigmanngut Loop is one of nine signposted running, walking and Nordic walking routes in the Bewegungsarena Anif. Information boards and a colour-coded signage system help with orientation and show each route’s length, difficulty and elevation profile.
