Loop 8 – HOGAST

Loop A8: HOGAST Loop (brown route) A varied, moderate loop for anyone who wants to combine exercise with streams, rivers and peaceful stretches of nature. The HOGAST Loop starts at the panorama board in Niederalm and first follows the Dorfstraße and the Salzweg. Passing the HOGAST offices, the route continues along the Salzachtalstraße to St John’s Church. From there, it heads north, past the cemetery and through the motorway underpass. After a short distance, you reach the Fürstenweg and follow it towards the Waldbad. A quiet stretch of woodland leads on to the Salzach river. The loop then runs along the Königsseeache and through the adjoining residential area back to the starting point.
